People will make assumptions about who you are and what you do based on the briefest of exchanges. But these assumptions don’t determine who you are or what you do. That’s down to you. You get to decide where you focus your energy. Perhaps you have a deep knowing about what it is that brings you sheer joy but you don’t allow yourself to go there; perhaps you think you don’t deserve to take time doing that thing. However, you do. You do deserve time doing the thing that activates your soul and makes you feel more connected to yourself – and the world around you – than anything else. And remember, when you’re described as something that doesn’t align with how you’d like to be seen – it doesn’t matter. You hold the truth, not the person who probably hasn’t even asked you a single question about yourself. Be you. Do you. Know yourself.
