Turn your ‘sales’ post into a story

You’re here because you want to know how to use Instagram not just to grow your brand but also how to SELL on this platform.

So, make sure that before selling, you’re adding value to people’s feeds.

But when you’ve been doing that, and giving everyone a little laugh/useful info/a moment of joy – you can try a ‘sales’ post.

Again, if you can create a story around the product/service, people will be more engaged.

You could use these questions to prompt a story…

(Beginning – sets scene)

I first started thinking about (insert product/service) back in (month/year). At the time I was …………. And I realised there was no one offering (insert product/service) for (insert idea client ie. women in their 40s).

(Middle – challenge)

At first, I wasn’t sure it would be possible to create a (product/service) that actually (insert what it is you help them to achieve), because (insert challenge). But I did my research, and soon discovered that there was a way. And I start making (product/service).

(End – resolution)

And now, (months/years) later, I’m so bloody excited to announce that (product/service) is here. And not only will it help (ideal customer) with (one benefit), but it also helps with (insert another benefit).

For a while now, I’ve been getting these lovely messages from the people I work with and not sharing them.

I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s fear of (insert reason). But I then realised that actually, telling people about (your product/service) isn’t just for me. It actually helps people. With (…., ….., and …….).

And so, I’m going to start putting these words on the grid. Because I’m so proud of the work I’ve done, and I want to reach more people who are keen to (insert benefit of using your product/service}.
