Smash an icy puddle with the heel of your boot and watch the way it cracks. Tread carefully over frosted grass and listen to the crunch. Gaze up at the open sky and admire its great expanse. Count the fluffy marshmallow clouds. Marvel at a tree’s silhouette; the spiky winter branches waiting patiently for spring to return their leaves. Feel the lemon sunshine on your icy-cold cheeks. Dip your bare feet in a freezing cold brook then pull on soft woollen socks. Walk out into a misty morning and trust that you’ll still find your way.
